What is a Boomerang Integration?

Simply put, a boomerang integration pulls data out of Workday, transforms it in some way, and pushes it right back into Workday.  There are several reasons to do this, for example fixing data such as special characters.

A Boomerang may be comprised of one or more of the following:

• Calc Fields
• Workday Studio
• Workday Web Services
• Core Connectors
• Integration and Business
• Process Security

You can use a boomerang to automate anything that uses a Business Process or has an EIB template.
